Terms of use

These terms cover the CrushFive app and the crushfive.com sites. Using either means you accept them.

What you get

A licence to use CrushFive on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. The games, artwork, sounds and code stay ours; the licence does not transfer them. Don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, and don't use it to break the law or to interfere with anyone else's use of it.

Purchases

The ad-free upgrade is a one-off purchase sold by Apple through the App Store, not by us. Apple takes the payment and Apple handles refunds under its own terms — we cannot issue one. A purchase is tied to your Apple Account and restores on your other devices. Prices can change for future buyers; that never affects a purchase already made.

Advertising

Without the upgrade, the app shows ads supplied by Google. We choose the ad formats and the content rating, but not the individual ads, and we are not responsible for what an advertiser says or sells. See the privacy policy for the data side of this.

Your saved games

Scores, settings and progress live on your device and nowhere else. Losing the device, deleting the app or resetting its data loses them, and we cannot recover them. Keep a device backup if that matters to you.

Multiplayer rooms

Rooms on party.crushfive.com are open to anyone with the code. Pick a nickname you are happy for strangers to see, and treat other players decently. We may close a room that is being used to harass people or to break the law.

No warranty

CrushFive is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it working and to fix what breaks, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute goes before the state or federal courts in California. If you use CrushFive as a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away the protections of the mandatory consumer law where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above will change and the new version applies from then. If you disagree with a change, stop using the app.
